We are a specialist design studio with offices in both Rwanda and Uganda, offering a comprehensive range of interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects. From fittings and fixtures to furnishings, we transform both new constructions and existing spaces with thoughtful, tailored designs.

  • FOUNDER & LEAD DESIGNER, RWANDA

    Camilla is a co-founding partner of K'wanzi Accents, which she launched in 2018 alongside her cousin and business partner, Brenda Mpiirwa Ssali. A natural creative, Camilla is passionate about integrating bold colors into spaces, encouraging deeper connections between people and their environments while transforming design challenges into possibilities.

    Before K’wanzi Accents, Camilla built a career in Human Resources within the banking and audit sectors. Her experience in managing diverse teams, problem solving, and relationship-building has equipped her with invaluable skills that she brings into the business.

    Together with Brenda, she is dedicated to growing K’wanzi Accents into a leading interior design brand. Camilla’s wholehearted commitment ensures that every project seamlessly blends her clients’ personal styles with a clear, creative vision.

    She aspires to be part of the new frontier in interior design, continuously pushing boundaries and redefining spaces.

  • FOUNDER & LEAD DESIGNER, UGANDA

    Brenda is one of the co-founding partners of K’wanzi Accents which she started with her cousin and business partner Camilla Kabagyema in 2018, with a vision of creating, building & transforming spaces that enable people live through their own passions.

    Prior to establishing K’wanzi Accents, Brenda was a full time banker where she developed a muscle to build client relationships.

    Brenda is a lover of art and a creative at heart and brings this steady entrepreneurial spirit to K'wanzi Accents, enabling the business grow through various aspects like problem solving, attention to detail, strategic thinking, innovation and hard work.

    In her free time, Brenda completes jigsaw puzzles for fun, watches T.V and loves to dance at every opportunity. A lover of travel, her creativity is inspired by the places She has visited.
